It took just under 2 weeks to progressively introduce Nova to her new friend Coffee. We chose to do a progressive and positive introduction to maintain the cat's confidence and teach Nova to curb her chasing instinct.
After about 12 days, they were comfortable being together and this is a picture of them today during their first combined clicker training session this morning. Coffee is learning to sit and Nova is showing the way!

Nova got a new "sister" a week ago. A wonderful and very fun tabby cat. We named her Coffee as she was found outside Starbucks and also because we couldn't agree on another name! :)
She is a really amazing cat and is not fazed by Nova's over enthusiastic nature! It is still early days and Nova is going through a lot of training to restrain her natural chasing instincts but we are making progresses every day.
This will be a great socialisation opportunity for the puppies too!
